You have raised good and valid points.  All should be explored.  I would
think the first thing to do is to see what the number would be for Wouxun to
do a run with the proposed new features.  On another track a set of proposed
features should be agreed upon.

1. menus should all be spoken.

2. Beep tones should be inserted to indicate when menus wrap.

3.  The radio should default when turned on in speech with the option to be
turned off if desired.

This is just the start of dialogue.  Keep the suggestions coming gang.\
