700 watts forward plus 300 watts coming back equals 1000 watts.  Only with 
300 watts returning down the line, something has to hapen with that power. 
Some radiates, some becomes heat, some returns back up the line.  Many 
modern rigs start cuting their output automatically at 1.7 to 1.  In this 
case, less is more.  Now, if you have an old tube rig with a pi network, 
what ever you can tune will probably work.
