Subject: Wonder what is next? God is in control!

Today is the last doctor visit before I visit the surgeon
and the hematologist. After insisting that my doctor help
me find some answers, he released me from work on medical
leave till we discover the cause for my many health
complaints. A series of blood tests revealed anemia, but
not an iron defficiency. The Urinary and colon incontinence
were accompanied by tears, humiliation, and frustration.
After the initial gynecological exam, I was informed that my
uterus was the size of a sixteen-week pregnancy and probably
filled with those nasty fibroid tumors. The CA125 blood
test precipitated an order for a CT scan because I scored a
96. How about that? I should have had an A! Considering
that the normal scores are 35 or lower, alarm bells started.
The CT scan showed a 19 by 15 centameter mass on my left
ovary. They couldn't find the right one in the scan.
That's almost 5X7--the size of a small picture!! Since the
blood tests came back they way they did, a hematologist as
been called in for consult. Hmmm. Wonder what he's gonna
tell me? Bad blood, perhaps? Well, lots of folks think
that anyway, lol. So today I have the ultra sound, and
Tuesday I have the remaining appointments.

It does cause me to have questions though. Wonder if I
should call in an endocrinologist to manage my insulin pump.
This might be a little much for my family doctor. And, I
wonder about the DNR thing in my living will? I'm a bit
young not to try, don't you think? Lots to wonder about.

My belly hurts most of the time, but my animals amuse me and
I pray lots. I talk to friends on the phone when I csan and
pray lots. I guess I don't get on the computer much, but I
pray lots. LOL. Can you join me?

Even so, Lord Jesus, Quickly come! Hey, I'm not giving up,
just trying to give God the glory. Smile.

I will disappoint you and even fail you sometimes, but Jesus
never fails. He never sleeps, he never slumbers, and in the
grand scheme of life, He runs the numbers.

In The SonLight of God's Love,

April Stahl
