Someone asked some time ago whether tea bags are GF.  I called the company
which makes Salada (800-645-1190).  Angel in their PR dept checked for me
and reported that small amounts of a plastic fiber are used as the sealant
and that their teas bags are GF.  I forgot to ask whether this tends to be
true across the industry.
