I was diagnosed with Celiac in July of this year and just signed up on the list serv yesterday.  After one week on the gluten free diet, my symptoms completely cleared up.  2 weeks ago my symptoms returned.  I "assume" the "gluten free" meal at the restaurant wasn't actually gluten free, however, I would think that I would go back to normal since I am not eating any gluten and was successful when I first began the diet.

Has anyone experienced this?  Is it normal after getting rid of gluten and symptoms, then ingesting gluten that it takes longer to get rid of symptoms?  Should I consider a colonoscopy?  Could there be something else going on?

Thank you!
