Hello all,
Does anyone know which brands of frozen chicken legs are gluten-free? I am talking about the pieces of raw frozen (basically unprocessed) chicken which come in reclosable ziploc bags so that you can cook just the number of items you neeed, rather than a whole bag full. The legs often are "brined" to prevent freezer burn, that is, "broth" (which may contain gluten) is added to the plain chicken. These items can be a great convenience for those of us who usually cook from scratch and don't use most processed foods.
I am specifically interested in finding out whether the Aldi chicken legs are gf, but have not heard back from the company yet.
I will summarize responses to the list!
Laura
