Greetings to all:
I recently had a reaction to Pinkberry frozen yogurt in their new chocolate
flavor. I realize that there's potential for cross contamination with some
of the toppings that contain gluten but I always stick to the fruit which
seems pretty safe. I have had the reaction twice. Has anyone else had
trouble with the chocolate or other flavors of Pinkberry? Of course,
Pinkberry's website says all flavors are gluten-free.
FYI, I'm a member of a very exclusive club, the Super Sensitive Celiacs. I
can't go to any restaurant and gluten free food from a non-gluten free
kitchen is very risky for me. I know many of the people on this list are
also unwittingly members of this exclusive club. Pinkberry is the one
remaining "restaurant" that I have been able to continue to go to following
my joining the SSC and now I'm reluctant to give it up. I'm hoping it's
just the chocolate flavor that I will have a problem with but am now
somewhat reluctant to go back.
Thanks so much!
Lynne
