Just jumping in on the Itunes question. I use my Ipod shuffle regularly,
and while other users are quite correct that the Itunes software is pretty
clumsy in terms of accessibility, after playing with it a bit the screen
can be negotiated. However, you may run into trouble converting MP3 files
for use on the Ipod as it is designed to run with Apples proprietary file
type.
There is a option within Itunes for converting MP3 files, but in my
experience it is only successful 75% of the time.
I agree with Steve too about products from Creative Labs, and if what you
need is to play mp3 files, then that may be the simpler solution.
Finally, I did purchase the book on the Ipod shuffle from National Braille
Press, and found it very helpful, though it isn't designed as a tutorial but
rather is simply the writers diary on learning to figure out the Ipod and
Itunes.
