Jimmy,

Try this

With your PPT presentation open. Press F12 to bring up the save as dialog box, type in the name of the file and tab until you hear save as and choose the file type you wish to save the file as. You can choose MS Word, RTF, plain text, etc and then save the file. Then go back and open the file from the location you saved it to and you will be able to read the text from the PPT. HTH

Subject: [VICUG-L] PowerPoint and jaws

Does anyone know how I can get some help on reading slides? I'm using the
jaws help topic and doing what it says, but I don't see it helping. It isn't
doing what it says it will do. I'm using vista 64-bit, jaws 11 with latest
update, and PowerPoint 2007. I looked in the office tutorials suite I have,
but don't see anything in the folder. Is it in one of those documents?

Thank you so much!

Jenn
