Expand? What type of VCard? Is it something that JAWS may think of as
a paper clip symbol, which signifies the presence of an actual
attachment? According to JAWS, AVG used to place an attachment with
every email, yet when one looked there was (normally) no attachment.

The attachment flag is being triggered by a vcard.

Hi Harry and All,
I have a similar problem. I Use Outlook Express, Windows XP Home, and
Jaws 10. Certain messages, many from a particular list, prompt Jaws to
announce, "Attachment." When I use the Jaws cursor to read the message
header, I discover that there's almost never an attachment. If it
seems important, I have sighted people look to confirm. I've had this
problem with previous versions of Jaws. Is Jaws misreading something?
Occasionally, I do find an attachment along with a note that says I
can't access my attachment because my virus checker has detected
something foul.
Not very helpful.
