At one time, GWMicro also recommended classic view for Window-Eyes. They
had dropped that recommendation some years back though users repeatedly
still bring it up on their support list. Habbits die hard; and, thanks to
human nature, we tend to hold on to that which seems comfortable and
reassurring.
I like classic view not because it is necessarily better but that's what I
know and works for me.
If I were a trainer, I would, of course, have to try new things just
because they were there; as a user, I feel no such compulsion as I use
what works for me for as long as it does and it meets my needs.
Like most, I adopt and adapt when it is needed; but I, on the other
hand see no reason to rush out to try something just because it is there.
If I did, I would likely go bananas as there is so much new these days
that there is absolutely no way to keep on top of it unless I wished to
make it my life's pursuit.
Fortunately, or some might say unfortunately <smile>!!, I view the use of
PCs as a tool rather than an end in and of itself.
If you ask me after what fashion I mould my life, and what is the model by which
I would sculpture my being, I tell you, it is Christ.
