Heck, I don't use the classic view in Vista and have no problem with it. As I understand Windows 7 to be a lot like Vista, I don't see having problems with it either.
Harry, aren't you being just a little over the top here? Is it really going to take you 12 years to learn how to use Windows 7 if it doesn't have a classic view? I sincerely doubt it.
