To get away from C & P links when you want to forward the link:

Wile on the website pull down the file menu with the alt  F combo stoke.
Press E to choose send
Press L to choose link as email

This will open your default email client with the link you want to forward 
in the body of the message.
or as an alternative;
Press P to send the entire page in the body of the message.
