John:
Once I get some antennas back up, it will be interesting to see how well
I'll be able to copy you from Arizona here in Michigan. Should be a pretty
easy trip.
Once again, my thanks go out to Lloyd, Kevin, Gary, and everyone else who
has been keeping up the Cross-country blind ops net during my move back to
Michigan and my resultant absence from the HF air waves.
I had hoped my antenna help would arrive this past week-end, but weather and
other constraints got in the way, so maybe this coming week-end will be
better.
I'll keep everyone posted.

Hi all, Thanks for taking the net, Lloyd, you were quite readable here at
my qth. I'm not surprised you had a hard time copying, as I am only
running a 706 barefoot into a 40 meter invertid v at about 25 feet. The
tuner gets me a 1 to 1 swr, but who knows how efficient it is! GRIN!
George, WD8INW also tried to check in, but apparently noone could copy
him!
