Albert,
To get to it via echo link: Alt - T for tools menu, then arrow down to
"volume control" sub menu, then choose "recording". This will open
yourwindows volume control in the recording section. Be sure "microphone"
is selected and adjust mic volume with the up/down slider. If the
"boost" option is present, it will be under the "advanced" button just
below the microphone volume adjustment. Hit the advanced button and
when the new window opens, select the 20 db boost. 73, Steve KW3A
