Does anyone have any info on an old Apple power supply? Model M2693, 24v. I recently received an old Powerbook Duo280 circa 1994, and thought I would just plug it in and see what it does before I toss it out or donate it to a museum. Does nothing. I don't have any other Apple gear to see if another power supply would work.
Clipped the power supply wires to check for output, has brown, orange, yellow and shield. Get 24v dc from either the ground or orange to the brown, nothing on the yellow to the others. Center pin of power connector appears to have 2 contacts, plus outer ring for ground/shield. Markings do not indicate multiple output voltages.
.
Can't seem to locate any info on the web.
