>take T3 alone can eat immediately before and after their doses?

>To the people who take only T3, what do you do about food?
As I understand it, few people use T3 alone.
Use of T3, in combination with T4, raises *enough*
red flags.
Effectiveness of thyroid hormone replacement can
be influenced by many things.
The important thing about food intake around
thyroid pills is consistency. You need to take
your thyroid hormone replacement at the same
time, and with the same food (in, or not in your
stomach) each time. That way your tested
blood levels will be indicative of what's really
going on in your health.
Your lowest possible thyroid hormone replacement
dose may be an objective or goal that your insurance
or your physician or your banker may desire, but it
has less to do with your health, compared to being
consistent.
Be consistent - and find the dose that works with
your life, and improves *your* health.
Ending up with a higher thyroid hormone replacement
dose because you *always* take your thyroid pills with
bread and coffee, for example, is not necessarily a
bad thing, in other words. It costs the drug company
a fractionally larger amount to produce a larger dose,
but I really doubt this should be your concern at this
time. Find a level that works for your life.
