I extend my sincere condolonces to the family and friends of Sam
Njie. When I heard the news my immediate thoughts goes to Kebba Jarju,
KBJ, who was very close to Sam. I also remember the happy occasions
that I share in their company. May his soul rest in pefeect peace.

On behalf of Penda, Jackie Njie, Bajen kanjang Jeng Njie and Family, we
regret to announce the passing of Mr Sam Pierre Njie, which sadly
happened in London last Tuesday. Most people will remember Sam at the
Commonwealth Office in London and he later worked for the UN. A
wonderful gentleman has gone. May his soul rest in perfect peace
(AMEN).
