I heard from lots of people...but much of what I heard was repetitive
  In terms of Gefilte fish there are basically two GF brands:   Kedem which 
comes in a jar and Bentz' which is found in the frozen food  counter.  
 
With respect to Matzoh meal, several people use Paskesz Pasach Crumbs to  
make matzoh balls.
 
Good luck.  I have not tried either yet.
