Hi All,
I'm running JAWS 11 and Windows 7 and am also having my Windows
Explorer stop responding after a few seconds every time I load it. Then my
speech freezes up for a bit, and unless I reboot the computer entirely, Win
Explorer won't launch at all after it crashes. I'd thought it was a virus,
but if folks here and with differing platforms and so on are all having the
same problem, a virus isn't very likely, especially after two clean scans
with different av programs. Has anyone had this problem and managed to fix
it? My computer's only a month old, and tech support at Toshiba is wanting
to have me do a complete system restore and start over from nothing, which
doesn't sound like it's going to help. I'd be very grateful for any
suggestions.

Hi Albert and eveyone,
Not sure if this will do the trick, but I once heard from Joe Plaza at
Neil Squire Society that if you have two different anti-virus programs
such as MacAfee and AVG, they may target each other as infections,
which could hang your system. You might try turning off one or the
other and re-booting to see if the problem persists.
