Well, Junior, there's always next week. Propagation didn't seem to
be too good from your direction to Colorado today anyway.

Tom, I wish I could have checked into the net today.
I had some work done on my antenna yesterday.
It is now 50 foot at the center and is in a sloping inverted v
configuration.
That is my g5rv I wanted to check it out.

Subject: Cross-Country Blind Ops Net Report

Hi, Folks.

Well, due to the fact that it is Easter Sunday, we had a small turn-out for
the CrossCountry blind ops net today, but the net was still interesting. In

particular, we had two mobile check-ins to add to the mix.

Here are the check-ins I copied:

WB6IVF--Gerry from Boulder, CO
N8DAD--Barry from Gaylord, MI
KD8FPS--Joe mobile near Cleveland, OH
KI6HNA--Robert near Plackerville, California
KK3F--Patt in Frostburg, MD
N4HZ--Roger in Mayfield, KY
WA9TOP--Howard--Milwaukee, WI
W4GEH--George near Charlotte, NC
N8SA--Bill mobile in Harrison Township, near Detroit, MI

I appologize if I missed anyone.

One thing that was a bit unique today was that the band didn't seem to be
very open to the East coast, or the Southeastern U.S.

Otherwise, conditions were reasonably good.

Will see everyone next Sunday--same time same frequency.
