HHi Gerry,

Here is a copy of an email that was forwarded to me. There are a couple
websites listed. I think between the two of them, anything you want to know
is there. I hope this helps

Here's the deal. The updates will allow you to store more than one book on
a cartridge or a flash drive. Its actually very cool and it works really
well. If your player's software version was released before November
twenty-fifth you can upgrade your software. To find out the software
version, take the cartridge or drive out of your player, press the sleep
button ten times and listen to the serial number and the software version.
If its 2.0 then you can go ahead and upgrade. To upgrade, go to
http://www.loc.gov/nls/DTBM/

and follow the directions from there. Also, I've found the bardtalk web
site to be extremely helpful! They have a great FAQ section and it helps a
lot. One more thing, to access the bookshelf feature after putting multiple
books on a drive, hold down the play button for two seconds and the player
will tell you that you're in bookshelf mode. From there, you use the rewind
or left arrow to cycle backwards through the books and the fast forward or
right arrow to cycle forward through the books. If you are in a book and
you leave it to go to another book, the player will automatically take you
back to the position that you were in before you left. Hope this info
helps. By the way, the bardtalk website is, http://www.bardtalk.com/
