Tom, I am a hard person to discourage.
I enjoy getting on the net.
I most of all appreciate you guys listening out for me and checking me in.

Subject: Thanks for another great net today!
Hi, all.
Well, after being gone for two weeks, it's quite clear to me that the
Cross-Country Blind Ops Net is still very much alive and well.
We had 26 check-ins today, and the net ran almost an hour and a half.
We did loose some folks along the way, due probably to conditions, or to the
fact that they might have intended only to be short-time check-ins, but I
guess that goes with the territory.
I am not sure why, but I really had trouble pulling out east coast stations,
so my apologies to you guys who were trying to check in from out there.
The band does seem to be getting more stable, though, with the longer days.
Will be interesting to see how we all do in February and March.
P.S. I want to give a special thanks to Junior, (KG4ITD), for being so
persistent. We knew you'd make it eventually!
Will see everyone next week!
