Hi all:

I'm really torn on what to do with my TS-940, live with the issues until it dies or just junk it.
Here's a description of the issues so I can get a list oppinion.
On initial power up there's a blinking display, intermintent transmit and receive and ATU function.
The monitor does function but the audio level is way down, don't know how to adjust, no mention in the manual.
All of these issues occur for about 20 minutes, then the rig settles down and operates normally.
This has been happening for about 3 years now and doesn't get any worse.
In fact, I do receive excellent audio reports and the receive is also excellent. This sounds like this could be either a PS or CPU issue and would cost the price of a more modern rig on the used market to fix.
I do use a banged up MC-60A desk mic with loose connectors and a torn cable jacket, that's definitely going in the junk box as soon as I can get a new TT 707.

TNX all:
