a few years back when I had a Kenwood 940 I found a link on the ARRL web 
site that had dust covers for a lot of the radios.  You might look in the 
advertisers link if there is still one there.  I have not been on the site 
in a long time.

Fred, do you have a local sewing store?  They might know of somebody who
would make custom items like that.
