The new f6 radios come with a 2000 ma pack as I recall, which is better 
than the original.  One thing I'd recommend, not sure if you got that, is 
the case.  It protects the radio.  I never Cary mine obn my belt, so I 
take the belt clip off of the case, it is a little plastic thing.  BTW, 
the radio will fit in the case with its own belt clip.
