After receiving the same message as previously posted, I called the company
and complained that the answer was unacceptable. Many cosmetic companies
will at least state that no gluten was added in the ingredients of the
lipstick are more accommodating to the growing celiac community. I told her
the choice should be ours to decide if we felt the product was safe. The
representative checked the the item and said it was, in fact, gluten free,
and that Revlon's attorneys insist they use that statement. Another case of CYA.
