My concrete guy had been complaining about his bulky and heavy, cranky
tape measure forever. So when we did he last pour, I told him I'd get
him a good one if he dumped the cruddy one into the concrete.
So: this morning I looked at the dozens at the local building supply
place. All of them were grossly oversized (what's with that? I've seen
the measuring tape fidget riff that goes along with standing around
talking about The Work but really, I would appreciate tips!).
I know that some of you will amuse us all talking about that but
really: who makes a good, sturdy, compact (25-30ft) tape that can
handle getting messed up in the wet and stuff of concrete work. Please
give me your ideas.
Thanks!
