Hi, all.
Well, as some of you know, I am having some antenna woes here.
My DXCC and Carolina Windom 160 compact are now out of the box and up in the
air, but both antennas are giving me problems, basically due to a lack of
height at the Michigan home QTH.
It has been suggested to me by several people that I buy a 30-foot
Channelmaster telescopic mast, and add about 10 feet of PVC or fiberglass
pipe to the top. Then, I can put the Carolina Windom at the top, and the
DXCC about 10 feet underneeth it. The antennas can be arranged at right
angles to each other, so I would think coupling would be minimal.
Anyway, I have been calling around here locally to see if anyone has a
30-foot Channelmaster telescopic mast, but have come up dry so far.
Does anyone know where I might find one?
I'll resort to ordering "on line" if needed.
