Hello listeers,
I was at a Brille related conference last weekend in Denver, CO. It was a disappointing weekend conferning ham radio in two ways.
The downtown Marriott had so much metal in the building I couldn' hit any repeaters on two meters and be heard. That even with moving the HT closer to a window using high power and one of the Comet three band antennas.
440 was even worse. I think some areas must have a different repeater split because all I got whille attempting to transmit was the rig would beep telling me it wouldn't not transmit out of band.
How do I change this without affecting the splits on 2 meters and 220?
I did not bring along my Kenwood cheat sheet. I thought it might be the A key plus the number 8.
I didn't want to try anything for fear of messing up the rig and not being able to transmit on two meters again.
I was going to try again at the airport while waiting for my plane back to Sacramento but did not.
Any helpful observations or instructions on this would be welcome.

Eric
