I think that either 1900 or 2000 would work.  By 2100 the skip will be lengthening, and the first hop will be perhaps 1500 miles instead of 1,000.  I have no clue what frequency to recommend, but the General Class band starts at 14225.  Perhaps 14253?  I was struck by how accurately we were able to be on 7197 without hearing each other.
