Agreed, except for certain instances, I wanted the bluetooth. The other
difference, which is no biggie, is that when you purchase the standard you get
a 2GB SD card, whereas when you purchase the XT, you get an 8GB SD HC card.
But, unless you're going to use blue-tooth, I doubt it is worth the extra
money. The radio tuner is about what'd you would get on the BrailleNote,
maybe just slightly more sensitive. And, you can always put a 4GB SD card in
a standard for about $20.

The only difference between stadnard and XT is that XT comes with
bluetooth audio, 4 GB of built-in storage, and an FM radio. For that,
you pay $135 extra (more when the prices go up). From the accounts I'm
reading, seems people are having some small issues with XT. Nothing
insurmountable, but IMO those features aren't worth $135. They aren't
to me, anyway, which is why I bought the standard version.
