Hi;
A recent comment led me to a rather off topic question. I am thinking about going computer shopping and am trying to decide between desktop or laptop. Also, wonder what speed and ram folks feel is fast enough to last a few years? I realize a laptop isn't as serviceable and can't be as easily updated but to its credit it is more portable. Most laptops I have seen, however, don't have a cereal port which may prove to be a problem. I guess you can get converters but I'd like to avoid all that.
Feel free to reply off list because this is one of those questions that can have a million answers.
Richard
