Dear List Mates,

Northern California stores have French Meadow products, but no GF breads or
pizza shells yet. However, a local, 3-store pizza restaurant in San Jose/Los
Gatos uses French Meadow pizza crusts, and the result is delicious. My
non-GF wife liked my pizza at Willow Glen Wood Fired Pizza even better than
hers, which was not GF. To me, there is no comparison between the Willow
Glen pizza and any other commercial pizza I have tried in Northern
California. (Warning! Pizza is a matter of taste, and people are passionate
about their favorite pizza. I haven't been to Mariposa Bakery or Pizza
Rustica yet. No flames, please.)

If the French Meadow GF breads are as good as the GF pizza crust, the bread
will be worth buying. I can only hope that French Meadow packages pizza
shells in consumer-size amounts and that our local groceries pick this
product line up. The restaurant-size packaging is a bit much for the home
pizza chef.
