Thanks to everyone who answered my question, especially to Pat, who pointed
me toward the manual at www.icanworkthisthing.com. I had downloaded the
manual from Kenwood's site, and something must have gotten messed up when I
converted it from a .PDF document to a Word document. I now have the
information I needed, and have decided to replace my version of the manual
with the more accurate one I found.
