So sorry Norm to bother you, but is this very interesting conference going
to be kept somewhere on-line, so that those of us who will miss the event
will be able to access it later in the week. I hardly dare admit, but that
evening UK time I am having to attend a Sussex food tasting event with my
husband!

Best Wishes E.A.

Subject: Web Live Conference "Making Google Maps Accessible Jan 25

Free Web Conference: Creating Accessible Google Maps
Thur. January 25 at 2 PM Eastern (New York Time)
Presenters: Greg Kraus, LecShare

Google Maps is a great tool that allows information to be presented in many
exciting ways. Unfortunately it's very inaccessible to many people. Using
Google's
publicly available API we will see how to create
custom Google Maps and make them accessible at the same time. We will see
how to navigate the map by using the keyboard and also how to make the data
behind the pushpins accessible.
