I have a specific question. If folks can, please answer my specific question rather than speculating about other aspects of this query.
I'll give a little background and then get to the question.
A few weeks ago I posted a note here saying that despite my being strictly GF and being 100% healthy and normal for 6 years; I have been having diarrhea since April. As of now my diarrhea is gone but, while my stools are solid, they do not sink. They float. For the 6 years when I was healthy and normal, my stools were always solid and they always sunk.
My question is: Is it true (as I believe I have learned) that a normal stool is solid and sinks and that if the stool floats there is still a problem with my digestion? I am trying to figure out whether I still have to worry that something is wrong or whether I just have a "new normal."
I look forward to answers to this question.
Thanks very much,
Richard Paul
