In conjunction with Congo Week, we will be showing a short clips on the conflict surrounding the illegal extraction of minerals in Democratic Republic of Congo

Congo is naturally endowed with most of the world's minerals used to produce modern, everyday technology (cell phones, DVD players, mp3 players, etc.). Many corporations have been illegally mining and have not been held accountable because the developed world depends on these products.

Come and see the issues that arise around this richly endowed country and discuss the implications following the video.

BEING INFORMED IS THE FIRST STEP TO GUIDED ACTION. LET'S START THE PROCESS.
