I am not sure of a specific item for doors or cabinets, but I recently found
a great item called Mail Box Chime. 

When the mailbox is opened, it alarms in the house. 

I found it on qvc and I believe it is still available. It works off of the
movement of the door on the mailbox and it might work for this situation.

Subject: [VICUG-L] sound maker for drawer or cabinet

Hi Listers,
Does anybody knows of a device that I can stick to a drawer or a cabinet's
door that would make a sound while the door is open. I have family over and
although I tried to remember they might forget to close the cabinet drawer,
even though I tell them all the time to close it, from time to time I am
hitting it.    Ouch!! If anybody knows, Please let me know.
