I'm puzzled by Freedom Scientific's asking each of us to get help by
telephone patching our individual copies of JAWS instead of producing
improved versions of JAWS 11 and 12 so that we can download them. Shouldn't
FS be figuring out just what's wrong and repairing it on their Website?
In my own case, when JAWS 11 loses focus, it says "blank" instead of the
previous or next character when I press the left or right arrow, and it says
nothing at all when I want to hear a word, line, or page. So I close JAWS,
reopen it, and find it working properly again for a while.
