The same kind of thing happens with Jaws 11 and Word 2007: Jaws says, 
"blank," or nothing at all when it's in an open document full of text. It 
doesn't happen often, but it does happen. The only pattern I've noticed is 
that it's more likely to happen after I paste text in from another 
application. But again, this isn't always the trigger. Still not sure 
whether it's a Jaws problem or something I'm toggling in word.
