Grayhawk is now 14 and in 9th grade. All his courses are advanced placement and he has never gotten a B. He plays the electric guitar, paints and draws, is a pool shark, and is about 70,000 words into writing his first novel. He came by tonight ( he lives across the street) to get a pair of waterproof hunting boots, 3 books on NLP and some dress shoes to wear to a competition ( he won his HS title and is off to regionals for his presentation on jet engines). Last year he was the fastest boy in his grade level.
Tonight I ate a pound of steak, a fried onion, some clementine oranges and one green, golden delicious apple.
Mostly, I've been studying Paul Shepard and his work on Neoteny and its' effect on human behavior and civilization. I learned about the evolutionary advantage of religion and how it saved us from extinction - and why dogs bark.

Subject: Questions for Ray
Ray,
I have some more questions for you, if you don't mind. I don't know how much personal/family info you want to share, and I won't be offended if you choose not to answer some or all of the questions.
How is your health now and that of Gray-Hawk?
What are you eating these days (other than tea)?
What is Gray-Hawk's IQ and what are his athletic achievements (when I reported what you wrote in a forum about his intelligence and athleticism being above par, someone skeptically claimed you were likely just blinded by your bias as a parent)?
In your study of philosophy, what did you learn?
Thanks,
Phil
