Kyle,
in college one of my roommates had already had three abortions by the age of 22. And it's probably both a good/bad thing.
why? because she was already messed up, she wouldn't have been a good mother... but sad because it screwed her up even more I'm sure...  imho; only the woman can determine (if single), or a couple, whether it's untenable to carry a baby to term.

Mags and all,

Just for the record, my issue with Obama is neither his stance on gay rights
or abortion.  I don't have a dog in either fight, as my daddy would say.  My
position on abortion is compassion for women who have gone through the
experience.  The two women I know that had abortions as teens say that the
whole affair was the most emotionally traumatic experience either has ever
had.  There's a group I support in Columbus called HEART (stands for Healing
the Effects of Abortion Related Trauma).  Its a place that women can go and
discuss their experiences with other women in a non-judgemental atmosphere.

As far as cops and gay marriage in the Bay Area of California, mags, I'm
with you--WTF?  Given the overwhelming acceptance of the gay lifestyle in
the area, it just doesn't make any sense.
