                                   NEW YEAR’S EVE GALA

                              Thursday, December 31, 2009

8:00 PM till Midnight and beyond …

                                         Grand Ball Room

                                      Knights of Columbus

                                       5256 Verona Road

                                     Fitchburg, WI 53711

Some women have standards that are unrealistic. Some women don't want men who make less than they do; some women don't want 'blue collar' men. Some women don't want men who don't drive fancy cars...etc. I figure that as long as their job is legitimate and they are discharging their duties in a legal manner, that works for me (which eliminates educated, shyster, insider-trading brokers).

Educated Black women have it a little harder especially when you consider 10% of Black men marry outside the race. That 10% is on top of the ones who are out of the running due to incarceration or sexual orientation or are already married. That doesn't leave a whole lot left over. If they are looking for an equally educated Black man they will run into difficulty because there are more Black women in college than Black men.

In this respect Black women may have to 'settle' for a good, intelligent, man without a college degree who treats her well, cares for her and the family and is not intimidated by her education so that it does not become an area of contention in the marriage.

This took a great deal of time."
