LOL. Hey Kath, I am by no means the professor in here, but I CAN tell you that I have been feeding raw meat to my four "kids" for years, plus I don't cook the cr*p out of my own meat, either. And I don't use Clorox or Lysol, heaven forbid...we just "eat" our own germs, and mostly everyone else's, and we are still alive after, GASP, almost twenty years!!! The immune system says HEY, WHO CARES??? The people I know who worry about germs are either dead or on death's bed and sick all the freaking time..., me, I never am. FWIW. You said you wanted anecdotal, lol....

It appears that I am searching for a definitive "how to" regarding what I should do with my raw meat, and it is beginning to sound like I need to continue collecting anecdotal information and then just make some sort of decision as to what I will do.
