Hi Danny, I would deffinatly be interested in such a device!  It reminds
me of a product that I can't remember the name of at the moment, but it
was basically a frequency counter with CW read-out, I think it was called
the Freqmite, that sold for around 20 dollars, but it was a kit!  With
one of those, one could make any radio usable, even Yaesu's!  GRIN!  I
say that because Yaesu isn't known for putting speach in there rigs,
unfortunatly!
