The Developmental Delay Registry (DDR) is sposoring two weekend
conferences in the near future: "After the Diagnosis, Then What? --
Healthy Options for Treating the Whole Child". These conferences are
being held in San Diego (Feb. 23-25) and Stamford, Ct. (Mar. 15-17).
These conferences are for parents and professionals of or working
with children with Autism, PDD, learning deficits and attention
deficits. Each of the conferences has several keynote speakers and
various workshops with Doctors, OTs, Vision specialists, etc.
One of the many topics which will be covered at the conference is
dietary intervention, and the effects of a gluten-free diet on
children and adults with these developmental disorders. Other
dietary topics include yeast-free, casein-free and additional
dietary modifications.
Some of the speakers at each of the conferences are as follows:

The DDR is located in Bethesda, MD and can be reached at Tel.

of the conferences but it is fairly reasonable (call them and ask
if you are interested).
The DDR is a year-old non-profit organization formed to help meet the
needs of parents and professionals working with children who have delays
in motor, sensory motor, language, and social emotional areas, including
attention deficits.
