I have been doing yard work and for about nine days have an itch on my
arms, legs and trunk.
It appears to be a combination of insect bites and poison ivy and or some
other poison plant. An M.D. advised me to use a light cortisone cream and
informed me I was the fourth person he had seen with the same symptoms that
day. I have used the cream and taken benedryl and feel very light headed,
still itch like I could rip my skin off. Question: Has any one been able to
tolerate a Cortisone Shot? I need to get rid of this stuff. It is a new
reaction for me to the outdoors and plants. My immune system must be
getting more sensitive?
