Hi,
What's sad about this whole scenario is that here in Canada, CBC mocks
anything to do with Christianity and the bible etc. I used to hear Mr.
Camping back in 1968 when I came to the Lord. In those days he just preched
the standard and true doctrines of the faith.
I don't understand why people think they will ever know or be able to
calculate the exact moment of Jesus' return. If no man knows the day and
the hour, not even the son, who is so egotistical to think he is going to
figure it out.
It used to be said, if you want to make God laugh, set a date.
Oh yes, and I was also thinking, "When was the last time you got a phonecall
from your local thief to ask you if he could pop over and steal your goods?
Vinny

You are right Stanly, but at least one good thing came out of it; people
talked about it all week on every talk show and TV talk show across the
country. Poor Harold, at 89 years of age, can't wait much longer, Lord, so
he might have to go to his reward just like most of the rest who have gone
before.

Here in Lehighton PA the time is 6:20pm. You would think that Mr. Camping
would give up with his determining when the world would end. He tried it in
194. Even Jesus told us that even the Son of Man does not know the Hour. The
time table for the world to end is in the control of God himself. As
Christians, we are ready each day awaiting that return.
