Hi Ana
The Office 2003 shortcuts still work in Office 2007. So in Word 2007,
if one is dealing with font stuff, one can do
Alt o
f
Takes one to the font selection
One can tab through several combo boxes and check boxes
I see one for all caps but not one for lower case though. If you
highlight text and then check the All Caps, the font turns to all caps;
if you then uncheck that box with the text highlighted, my test text
went back to mixed case.
No tips about changing the indent though.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Speaking of Ribbons
How does one efficiently navigate the Windows ribbons. I'm using Office
2007 on XP with Jaws 11.
I find the ribbon annoying because, if I don't remember the shortcut
letter sequence, I often have to tab through lots and lots to get to
what I'm searching for. For example, if I'm trying to change case, I
need to tab through half a dozen font options (italic, bold,
strikethrough, etc) to get there, and if I'm looking for
increase/decrease indent, I need to go through all those font options
and more on increasing and decreasing size.
Is there a way to, say, skip past all the font related items to
something else. I suspect that the font items are grouped together
visually so the eye can jump to something else, but I haven't figured
out how to find something without going through every unrelated item in
the ribbon between me and it.
